Eddie Varon Levy
Eddie Varon Levy provides a wide range of services to businesses and individuals throughout North America, including legal matters crossing the United States-Mexico border. Since 1988, Mr. Varon Levy has been admitted to practice law in Mexico and has appeared pro hac vice in American courts on numerous international matters. Based in Mexico City, he has also acted as of counsel for international affairs involving U.S.-Mexico business relations.
Alongside his legal practice, Mr. Varon Levy regularly serves as an expert witness to testify on Mexican, international, and comparative law. He has extensive experience within the Mexican government, including serving as the former Assistant Majority Leader for International Affairs in the Mexican Congress. Mr. Varon Levy also served as the Assistant Attorney General of Mexico and has practiced before the European Court of Justice.
In 1982, Mr. Varon Levy earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics from California State University, Long Beach. He attended Centro Universitario Grupo Sol in Mexico City, earning his Juris Doctor in 1988. Mr. Varon Levy is an active member in a number of legal associations, including the American Bar Association, the Mexican American Bar Association, and the International Bar Association. He is also a member of the International Law Executive Committee of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.
